SCHALKE AUTOPOSI-plus system include an integrated travel curve calculator.
This function optimizes the travel time as well as the positioning time of the machine.
On the basis of the calculated distance between the machine's present position and the oven that has to be approached next, the machine's optimum acceleration, speed and brake ramp is detected. During travelling the target value for the machine's speed is constantly updated. Interfering parameters such as tailwind or headwind as well as different types of rails are compensated and with this have no influence at all on the positioning exactness or cycle time of the machine.
The software include following operation modes:
- Manual positioning operation control
- Semi-automatic positioning
- Semi-automatic positioning (spare)
- Full-automatic positioning
- Manless positioning
