Hyundai Steel Company invested and built a large-scale Steel Plant in Dangjin, South Korea, the Steel Plant is divided into three phases for construction; When Hyundai Steel completes its Blast Furnace no.3 in 2013, the total annual capacity of the company will reach 23 million tons per annum.
The coking plant of foregoing project is also divided into three phases:
 
Phase 1: 2 x 60 ovens, 7.63M coke oven batteries, put into production in November, 2009;
Phase 2: 2 x 60 ovens, 7.63M coke oven batteries, put into production in October, 2010;
Phase 3: 2 x 70 ovens, 7.63M coke oven batteries, will put into production in September, 2013.
 
The Batteries was designed by ThyssenKrupp Uhde GmbH while coke oven machines were designed by Schalker Eisenhütte Maschinenfabrik GmbH.
 
As a partner of ThyssenKrupp Uhde and Hanjin Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., C&G supplied over 8,400 tons of equipments for this project.
 
In June 2008, C&G was invited by Hyundai Steel Company as one of its core partners to attend the Exchange held in Seoul and Dangjin Plant.
 
In 2010, when the Blast Furnace No.1 ignited to start up, C&G has visited Hyundai Steel Dangjin Plant and investigated the erection and usage condition of its supplies. Equipment provided by C&G is fully confirmed by C&G’s partner and the client.
